Before you exit this page because I’m posting Wolfmother, please hear me out. When I was quite young, Wolfmother’s debut really hit it off with me. I was fresh off of a middle school Led Zeppelin/Black Sabbath phase, and Wolfmother was a easy transition for me into newer music. And I still love their self-titled, I will defend that album to my death. But after so long, Wolfmother was not releasing any news of a future album, and their buzz and magic was quickly fading. Then came the breakup of the power trio, over fucking royalty money from Jackass 2. That was about the last straw for me, I was done with Wolfmother. Now main guitarist/vocalist Andrew Stockdale has gotten three new members, and their newest effort, Cosmic Egg, comes out in about a week. I have only heard a few songs, but it actually sounds somewhat promising. And I could not believe the names they had gotten to remix their second single, “New Moon Rising”. I understand if you despise Wolfmother, but these remixes are pretty enjoyable.
