Besides from having one of the best band names in the music business, We Were Promised Jetpacks put out some damn good indie rock. For some reason, they really reminded me of Interpol on first listen, but that association quickly went away. They get really heavy, both in music and Scottish accent. “It’s Thunder and it’s Lightning” is a solid first track, and first single “Quiet Little Voices” is quite loud for a single.
