One of my favorite small labels this year, Father Daughter Records, is have a special sale throughout the month of December! The $21 package includes all three 7″s they put out this year, with a Father Daughter button, digital downloads of each 7″ with an extra unreleased song from each artist, and a gift wrap option. The 7″s are from beach-lovers Family Trees on clear vinyl, Vermont downer-pop project tooth ache. on clear vinyl, and the sexy psych-pop Levek on red vinyl. The special only goes through December 21st, and you’ve gotta order by the 15th to get it by Christmas, so get on it!

Here’s the newest 7″ from my good buddies over at Father Daughter Records. Tooth ache. is a Vermont solo project of Alexandria Hall, self-describing herself as “downer pop,” a nice genre I’ve been seeing more and more. B-side track “Skin” plays with some sleepy drum machines beats, shiny gamey synths, and delicate girl vocals, and the result is super pleasing to the ears. Limited to 400 copies on clear vinyl, order the Lazarus/Skin 7″ right here.
