So I’m going to be making the trek home to CLEVELAND tonight, and I needed some quality music to listen to. I had heard about the Besnard Lakes after seeing a bunch of their vinyl in records stores, so I decided to check them out. I haven’t really listened to this much yet, but judging by their incredible reviews for their 2007 album The Besnard Lakes Are The Dark Horse, they’re on Jagjaguwar, and they album art is sweet, I have no doubt in my mind this is going to be a great record. This will be released on March 9th, so pre-order a copy or pick up the 12″ for “Albatross”.
