This EP was sent to me by Michael Murphy of Sail By Night, and I’m really glad he did. The music takes much from favorite of mine, Grizzly Bear, but Murphy adds a much more dark tone to the music. The harmonies are very faint in the background, but they accompany the acoustics with perfection. Bear with me, but the music put an image in my head of an extremely foggy overcast day. With the cold, the wet, the smell, the music really made me experience these things. Very few pieces of music can create such sensory within their music, so its no doubt that Murphy has crafted a worthy EP.
