Another great 2010 album from Sub Pop. Since their first album, Retribution Gospel Choir have been preaching hearty, epic, Neil Young inspired rock. 2 is filled with soaring songs that pack a big punch. “Hide It Away” and “Your Bird” both take heavily from Crazy Horse, as if they came off of Live Rust itself. Other songs fill an 90′s alt-rock tone, nod to the riffs in “White Wolf”. These songs are deep, sharp, and highly enjoyable to listen to. You’d be missing out if you didn’t hear the beautiful last track, “Bless Us All”.
