Story time. Cleveland record store, Music Saves, was having a fifth birthday, so they put together a little show with food and such. I showed up, and found out it was Brent Knopf of Menomena, would be playing as Ramona Falls, his new project. He had flown all the way from Portland to play Music Saves’ birthday party, only played like 5 or 6 songs, and stated Music Saves was his favorite record store in the country. Absolutely unbelievable guy. At this moment, I’m trying to decide if I should drive 6 hours to home to see him on September 12th. I will probably end up doing it. He’s in the middle of a small tour right now, and you would be missing out badly if you didn’t see him.
