I’d like to thank one of my readers, Mathijn, for turning me onto Moonhearts from his own list in the comments of my “Half-Way List” post. Moonhearts, formerly Charlie & the Moonhearts, is pure fuzz-driven California garage rock on their self-titled debut. It’s loud, it’s fun, it’s nuts, it’s a fuzzier Harlem who like the beach and Star Wars more than girls and ghosts. Moonhearts is getting its release from Tic Tac Totally Records, and you can preorder the vinyl right here, out on August 10th.
