Elite Gymnastics is a chillwave duo from Minneapolis, power dancing right into the summer. From what I can tell, REAL FRIENDS is their first music ever recorded and released, so make sure you grab this early. Opener “We Fly High” places confident yet awkward spoken word amidst refreshing back beats. Title track “Real Friends” is the main attraction; swirling surfer synths, bright drum machines, tropical beats, and mid-song breakdowns will have you coming back to this song for months. This is first release for Psychedelic Surf Club, but no word on a physical release yet. Stay tuned for that!
