Once again, I could not believe I found the second of three limited edition Boris 7″s at my local record store. Let me go over some of the translated lyrics of “H.M.A. (Heavy Metal Addict)”, the chorus is “Too much headbangin’/Too tight, KILL KILLER KILLEST/Too skinny KILL KILLER KILLEST/Your spandex pants, KILL KILLER KILLEST”. I’m not sure much needs to be said about that, but I guarantee the guitar solo will make your head explode. “Black Original” is quite different than I was expecting. It starts off with an drum machine beat, then transitions to a funky guitar riff in the background. Still sick shit from Boris.

02. Hey Everyone

Not gonna lie, I basically jumped up and down like a child when I found this at my local record store. I walked in with the intent to just look around, and that change in seconds once I found this in their limited supply of 7″s. This is the first of three releases on vinyl 7″ only, being released each month beginning last month. I am definitely going to be on the lookout for the other ones. After a few listens, it really seems like these songs have a sense of pop in them, which is quite a nice surprise! But “8″ still rocks the fuck out of my speakers when it’s on the turntable.
