So I went a free show in Bloomington last night, with bands Lydia and All The Day Holiday. All The Day Holiday have been supporting Lydia on their tour for the past month or so, and as of last night, it should be ATDH who’s headlining. Their music is extremely well produced, and takes an a wide pop atmosphere. It’s easy to admire the epic soundscape they project, with elements of post-rock and shoegaze. I talked to them about their upcoming sold-out show in New York’s Bowery Ballroom with Portugal The Man, and they were like giddy little kids.
