Alex Drosen is a one-man noise project, who already has two releases under his belt. His newest EP, Pivoted Limbs, is on the verge of a musical eruption. He combines different elements of electronic, noise, and ambiance for an unmatched musical experience. Each song takes a completely different tone, some with droning synths, and others with hysteric percusstion. The aura in “Heating the Mixture” perfectly complements the disturbance in “Claustrophobia”, which is named perfectly. I cannot say this is for everybody, but it is an excellent listen if you are willing to expand your mind for 23 minutes.
