Well here comes the hipster love story movie of the summer, but that is not a bad thing! I saw this about a week ago, and the movie did many things right. This isn’t a movie review, so all I’ll say is go see this, it’s worth it. Just like the movie, the soundtrack is very pleasant. Instead of throwing a bunch of random songs into a movie, it seems like someone actually put much thought into this soundtrack. I really enjoyed the diversity with The Smiths, Regina Spektor, Feist, and Black Lips. Plus, I felt some happy nostalgia when I saw Wolfmother was on the soundtrack. All and all, this is a ideal indie pop soundtrack, and I heavily recommend this and the movie.
