I’m back! And it gave me some good time to catch up on some music! I managed to not listen to Beast Rest Forth Mouth for a long time, until now. It’s definitely a strange record, and one that’s somewhat difficult to dig into. But once you do, an incredible LP awaits. Opener, “Beast In Peace”, could possibly be the most inviting song on the album, while “Lovesick Teenagers” is the odd pop anthem of the album. Much of the mastery of Beast Rest Forth Mouth goes to leader, Jon Philpot, who’s writing and almost-spiritual voice make this album whole. If you haven’t heard of Bear In Heaven or listened to this album yet, I strongly encourage you to, because it’s slowly becoming one of my favorites from last year. So if you want to add a cool vinyl to your record collection, check out the Beast Rest Forth Mouth LP HERE. You can either get an red album cover with a blue vinyl, or a blue album cover with a red vinyl. Oh such hard decisions!
P.S. I re-uploaded AFCGT in 320, and included the two bonus 7″ tracks, “Korin” and “Niche”!
